I celebrated by dreaming up these creamy yellow mango frozen treats. These little yummies are the result of my grocery store having sales on yellow mangoes and coconut water. Rounding out the deals were some pretty nifty popsicle containers I found at TJ Maxx.
The mango ice pops are creamy, fruity, and a touch sweet. Plus, the coconut water adds a mini-boost of electrolytes, which are much needed in the warmer months.
This recipe makes delicious frozen treats and silky smooth smoothies. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
- Two yellow mangoes, peeled and cut
- One banana, cut
- 1/2 cup of plain, whole milk yogurt
- 1 cup of coconut water
- A couple dashes of cinnamon
- A dash of nutmeg
Combine all ingredients into the blender, starting with the fruit. Blend until smooth.
Enjoy as a smoothie, or pour into popsicle containers and freeze; makes about 6 ice pops. Enjoy!
